Mircea Lucescu: Henrik Mkhitaryan not to play this year

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chief Coach of FC Shakhtar Mircea Lucescu said that Armenian midfielder Henrik Mkhitaryan will miss the November 3 match of Shakhtar with Arsenal London in the Champions League in Donetsk. He added that, possibly, Mkhitaryan will be unable to help his team this year.

“Mkhitaryan will not play this year. He trains, but in a rather partial load mode,” the football club official website quoted Lucescu as saying.

Since October 23, Henrik Mkhitaryan has not played as a result of a viral infection.
