  Tigran Sargsyan: road audit helps improve traffic safety November 23, 2010 - 15:42 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Road safety is in the focus of the government, Armenian Prime Minister said. Opening “Let’s make roads safe” international conference, Tigran Sargsyan stated that public support is extremely important to achieve good results. “Thanks to public engagement in the events initiated by the government over the past several years, the number of fatal accidents in Armenia has decreased by 20%,” he said. “A program envisaging public discussion of traffic accidents and training in educational institutions throughout the republics was implemented,” he said, adding that road audit helps improve traffic safety. David Vardanyan is the son of former Karabakh leader Ruben Vardanyan who who is currently imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
