Russian Foreign Ministry: Iran’s Bushehr NPP to be launched in August

PanARMENIAN.Net - Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant constructed in Iran by Russian specialists will be started in August, according to Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

“Project is finished, all is fine-tuned, and now technologists are to decide when really to switch on the cutout. If this takes place in early August, it would entirely comply with the expectations and forecasts of Russian and Iranian sides,” said Russia’s Foreign Minister, making, however, a reservation that some days’ delay would not make much difference.

Ryabkov assured that, anyway, this project is over. Bushehr NPP will not be a threat for international stability, according to BBC.
