  Azerbaijani border guard dies in shooting at border with IranJuly 4, 2011 - 12:51 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - An Azerbaijani border guard died as a result of shooting at the Azerbaijan-Iran border on July 3, Trend News reported. According to Azerbaijani state border service, armed persons attempted to violate the border from the Islamic Republic of Iran. As a result of the incident, the Squad Head Lieutenant Rufat Guliyev was fatally wounded and died while being evacuated to the border post. The report says the assailants escaped to Iran.
