Armenian –born boxer Vahagn Sahakyan’s 4th professional team due Aug 27 in Germany

PanARMENIAN.Net - A young boxer Vahagn Sahakyan (David Graf), who gained 3 victories in heavyweight category fighting under the German flag, is currently visiting Armenia.

Vahagn was born in Yerevan and trained in Vladimir Yengibaryan’s boxing school. Vahagn has had 65 clashes as an amateur boxer, having won 60 of them. Vahagn won European Championship bronze in 2007.

According to Armenian boxer’s promoter, Zhirayr Graf, Sahakyan performs at Sauerland club, best in Germany. “On August 27, Vahagn will have a combat in Germany; in early September we plan another visit to Armenia, to attend Vic Darchinyan’s fight,” the promoter told a news conference in Yerevan.
