Shakhtar beat Krivbass 2:0 in Ukrainian Football Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - In the 5th round of the Ukrainian Football Championship, Shakhtar Donetsk faced Krivbass at Donbass Arena and to win a 2:0 victory.

Mircea Lucescu’s team scored 13 points and are leading the tie-break. Dinamo Kyiv are 2 points behind.

Armenian midfielder Henrik Mkhitaryan, who will play friendly as part of Armenian national team against Lithuania on August 10, spent all 90 minutes on the ground.

“In the first time we failed to find the rhythm which could have helped us beat the opponents. In the second time, we switched into the top gear causing big problems for the rivals,” Shakhtar coach said, quoted by the club’s website.

Shakhtar’s next match will be against Dnepr on August 13.
