VivaCell-MTS allotted 20 million AMD to 5th Pan-Armenian Games![]() August 22, 2011 - 18:14 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Meeting the willingness to unite Armenians with the spirit of sport, Armenia’s leading mobile operator allotted AMD 20 million The responsibility of partnering the 5th Pan-Armenian Games, an initiative that revealed the sporting potential and the unification of the Armenian sportsmen stems from the strategy of VivaCell-MTS. The company believes popularization of sport is one of the important preconditions to secure healthy generations. This year the Pan-Armenian Games were held in 10 sports: soccer, basketball, volleyball, tennis, including table tennis, swimming, chess, etc. Along with the teams of various cities of the world, the Pan-Armenian Games also hosted 100 participants from Artsakh. The torch brought to the capital of all Armenians from Gandzasar symbolized the power and the significance of the national unity. Partner news Norway will host Chess World Cup 2013 on August 10 - September 4, 2013, with 4 Armenian players to participate in. Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian is currently 3rd with 4 points, Bulgaria’s Veselin Topalov is 7th with 3 points. European Individual Chess Championship ended in Polish town of Legnica, with 24 chess players winning World Cup qualifications.
