Egypt’s ambassador views Armenia as second homeland

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Egypt’s ambassador to RA Wahid Galal, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

President Sargsyan thanked the ambassador for his 4-year activity aimed at strengthening the Armenian-Egyptian relations. “We are proud of and appreciate our relations with Egypt,” he said, wishing amb. Galal every success at the post of deputy foreign minister for cultural affairs he is going to take upon his return to Egypt.

The ambassador, in turn, said that he views Armenia as his second homeland and pledged furher support for bilateral relations at his new post.
