Karen Grigoryan wins 1st League Armenian Chess Championship

PanARMENIAN.Net - International grandmaster Karen Grigoryan and grandmaster Hrayr Simonyan gained 8,5 points at 1st League Armenian Chess Championship to share 1-2nd places.

The tie-break points, however, decided the outcome in Grigoryan’s favor.

Levon Babujyan became the 2nd runner-up of the Championship, lagging only 0,5 point behind the leaders. The winners of 1-3rd places qualify for 2012 Top Division Armenian Championship, armchess.am reported.
