Armenia coach: we needed victory over Andorra

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia coach Vardan Minasyan described the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifier against Andorra as complicated.

“We needed this victory to gain points after the defeats by Russia and Lithuania and my men fulfilled their task completely,” Minasyan told a press conference after the match.

According to Andorra coach Koldo Alvarez, Armenia has more experienced players, who ruled the match.

Armenia beat Andorra 3-0 on September 2 to secure the 4th place in Group B with 11 points.
