Shakhtar’s Henrikh Mkhitaryan expects tough game vs Vorskla

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the threshold of September 18, 9th round clash vs. FC Vorskla Poltava, Shakhtar’s midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan shared his expectations from the oncoming match.

“Certainly, all of us have got upset after the defeat by Porto. Nevertheless, we’re going to take time for some serious training. Still, the outcome in Portugal won’t influence our performance quality. One must play without focusing too much on past matches,” the midfielder said.

“Vorskla is a strong player, regardless of a challenger. The team tries to take maximum points from every game. September 18 match will be a tough one, making it even more interesting for the players and fans alike,” Shakhtar official website cited Mkhitaryan as saying.

Shakhtar is leading the Ukraine Championship with 23 points; Vorskla is 6th with 14 points.
