2012 Youth Olympic flame to be carried by 2,012 torchbearers

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Innsbruck 2012 Youth Olympic Torch will be lit in Greece on December 17, 2011 and will first arrive in Vienna before going to Innsbruck.

The Torch Relay throughout Austria will start on December 27, 2011 in Tyrol’s capital and will end at the Opening Ceremony on January 13, 2012. Representing Excellence, Respect and Friendship, the Flame will be carried by 2,012 inspirational Torch bearers during the Innsbruck 2012 Youth Olympic Torch Relay. As it makes its way across Austria on an 18-day journey it will bring the excitement of the Games to everyone, according to innsbruck2012.com.
