David Nalbandian: I’ll have another chance to win Davis Cup

PanARMENIAN.Net -

In October, Armenian- Argentine tennis player David Nalbandian will perform at Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships and 2011 Shanghai Masters due in China.

“I'm going to Asia where I'll play two tournaments. After that I'm going to play the indoor events and I'm thinking about returning [to Argentina] in the first week of November to train on clay. I don't know what the weather in Spain will be like at that time. The best would be to try and have some good training sessions there. It also depends a lot on when I'm going to finish the indoor swing and how much I can train here, in Buenos Aires,” Nalbandian said.

Argentine will clash Spain in Davis Cup finals December 2-4.

“Apart from the Davis Cup, I'm having a very good year to build on and to analyse how I'm going to finish it. Little by little I'm getting better and better. I'm feeling good and comfortable and without injuries, which is what affected me the last time,” he said.

“I don't think that it's going to be my last chance to win the Davis Cup. I still have one or two years left of my career. Next year we're going to have plenty of chances because we'll have many home ties. It's a very good schedule. 2013 could also be a year with a good Davis Cup schedule,” Nalbandian’s official fan blog cited him as saying.
