Turkey dispatches F-16 planes to drive away Israeli aircrafts

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two Israeli aircrafts and a helicopter circled above a Turkish ship searching for gas reservoirs near Cyprus, and came near Turkey's coastline, Turkish newspaper Watan Daily reported on Friday.

According to the report, two F-15 jets flew through Cyprus' airspace while ignoring the air controllers' warnings. The jets retreated only after Turkey dispatched two F-16 planes. The IDF Spokesperson's Office said in response that it is unfamiliar with the incident.
