John Heffern: multilateral cooperation with Armenia important to U.S.

PanARMENIAN.Net - Newly-appointed U.S. Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern submitted the copy of his credentials to Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.

Congratulating the ambassador on the appointment, Minister Nalbandian expressed hope for his further contribution to U.S.-Armenia ties.

Amb. Heffern, in turn, stressed the importance of multilateral cooperation with Armenia.

The two men also discussed the ongoing U.S.-implemented projects in Armenia and some regional issues, with Nalbandian praising the efforts of OSCE Minsk Group’s U.S. Co-chair in Karabakh settlement, RA MFA press service reported.
