Stephen Evans: NATO values Armenia’s contribution to peacekeeping mission![]() October 18, 2011 - 19:08 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The head of Armenia’s mission to NATO Armen Yedigaryan met with NATO Assistant Secretary General for Operations Stephen Evans. At the meeting, the parties discussed Armenian peacekeepers’ involvement in NATO’s Kosovo and Afghanistan missions. Discussion of regional security issues was also on meeting agenda. In conclusion, Mr. Evans praised Armenia’s contribution to peacekeeping activities and the readiness of the country’s authorities to continue with the policy, Armenian Foreign ministry press service reported. ![]() ![]() Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
