Armenia faces Moldova in Chess Olympiad 2nd round

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is facing Moldova in the 2nd round of the World Youth U-16 Chess Olympiad 2011 going on in Izmit, Turkey.

Karen Grigoryan is playing against Valery Iovkov, Hovhannes Gabuzyan is rivaling Marius Abramkius while Tigran Harutyunyan and Arman Mikaelyan (who replaced Zohrak Apresyan) are facing Oleg Gorbanovsky and Yegor Prokop respectively.

In the 1st round, the Armenian team defeated UAE to take the 4th place with 3.5 points.
