Grigoryan, Gabuzyan score wins at World Youth Chess Championship round 5

PanARMENIAN.Net - World Youth Chess Championship is ongoing in Caldas Novas, Brazil.

In round 5, Armenia’s U-16 players Karen Grigoryan and Hovhannes Gabuzyan beat Cankut Emiroglu (Turkey) and Luis Paulo Supi (Brazil) to be placed 4th and 21st.

Tomas Laurusas is leading the championship with 4,5 points.

In the 6th round, Grigoryan and Gabuzyan will face off against Jose Felix (Venezuela) and Leon Mons (Germany) resp.
