  EU: mounting tensions in Karabakh may have tragic consequences December 6, 2011 - 12:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The European Union is concerned over absence of progress in Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement, Poland’s Under-Secretary of State for Security Policy said . “Mounting tensions in Karabakh conflict zone may have tragic consequences,” a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent quoted Boguslaw Winid as saying during the OSCE ministerial council in Vilnius, Lithuania. From November1-30, over 1150 instances of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani armed forces were recorded at the contact line with Armenian armed forces. Moreover, more than 200 cases of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan were observed at border with Armenia, while NKR defense army has fixed about 950 violations for the reporting period. Azerbaijan used various caliber weapons, with 300 shots fired from sniper rifles. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit.
