Syria state media denies Homs massacre, blames “terrorists”

PanARMENIAN.Net - Syria’s state media denied on Saturday, February 4 that a massacre was being committed in the central province of Homs, in which more than 260 people are reported to have been killed.

“Some satellite channels earlier Saturday aired footage of a group of corpses with their hands in chains, claiming they were killed by am army bombardment,” the state-run news agency SANA reported.

“In fact they are the corpses of innocent citizens kidnapped, tortured and slaughtered by armed terrorist groups,” it continued.

“This is an ongoing distortion, falsification and instigation media campaign by some satellite channels,” SANA added, according to M&C.
