PanARMENIAN.Net - Vladimir Akopian gained a victory over Russia’s Mikhail Ulibin in tournament A 3rd round of Aeroflot Open Chess Festival 2012, ongoing in Moscow.

Prior to this game, another Armenian representative Hrant Melkumyan also scored a win over Santosh Vidit (India).

Karen Grigoryan-Pavel Ponkratov game is still in progress.
