Levon Julfalakyan presented names European Championships participants

PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 21, chief coach of Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestling team Levon Julfalakyan officially presented names of the sportsmen to qualify for European Championships.

The line-up for the championships scheduled for March 6-11 in Belgrade (Serbia) has been announced as follows: European champion, World Championship silver and bronze medalist, Olympic bronze winner Roman Amoyan (55kg), Arthur Mkrtchyan (60 kg), Aram Julfalakyan (66 kg), European champion and silver medalist Arsen Julfalakyan (74 kg), Hrach Hovhannisyan (84kg), Artur Aleksanyan (96 kg) and Olympic bronze and World championship silver winner, European champion Yuri Patrikeev (120 kg).

Vice President of Armenian Wrestling Federation Hrant Yenokyan highlighted the international experience of the squad. “The European Championships are a significant tournament. I am confident you will do the utmost to emerge victorious,” he said.
