ANC to target Serzh Sargsyan and RPA at elections

PanARMENIAN.Net - The opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) will target President Serzh Sargsyan and his Republican Party of Armenia, the main force guarding the “ruling regime” at the upcoming parliamentary elections in May, press secretary of the ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrossian said.

“We will take an active part in the elections, mobilizing the public to the maximum to prevent forgery during the elections, as well as raise a public wave of protest against falsifications,” Arman Musinyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

Musinyan mentioned that ANC is ready to cooperate with all political forces to achieve this.

According to him, the coalition Prosperous Armenia party is not a “political force protecting the ruling regime” because its recent statements indicate that the party is interested in political competition.
