European Individual Women's Chess Championship 2012 kicks off in TurkeyMarch 2, 2012 - 09:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The 13th European Individual Women's Chess Championship 2012 will kick off in Gaziantep, Turkey on March 2. 5 Armenian chess players will participate in the championship based on Swiss system in accordance with the ECU Tournament Rules and FIDE Rules of Chess. Grandmasters Elina Danielian, Lilit Mkrtchian, Lilit Galojan, Maria Kursova and international master Anna Hairapetian will represent Armenia at the event. The first round will be held on March 2, 5pm Yerevan time. The playing time will be 90 minutes for 40 moves plus 30 minutes for the rest of the game with an increment of 30 seconds per move, starting from move one. Total prize amounts to Euro 100 000.
