Ruslan Basiyev (120kg) will clash with Jamaladin Magomedov (Azerbaijan) in 1/8 final while Musa Murtazaliyev (74kg) will meet with Marius Atofani (Romania) in 1/16 final. Hajimurad Nurmagometov (84 kg) will face his rival on March 9. David Safaryan (66kg) was the only Armenian participant who grabbed a bronze medal on the first day of the Championships.
