RA NA speaker invites his Swedish and Maltese colleagues to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - RA parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with a number of foreign speakers within the framework of Conference of European speakers in Limassol.

During the meeting with his Swedish counterpart Per Westerberg, Armenian speaker gave high assessment to Swedish parliament’s adoption of Armenian Genocide resolution. The parties dwelled on Armenia-Turkey rapprochement issue.

Hovik Abrahamyan also met with the speaker of the House of Representatives of Malta Michael Frendo and CoE Commissioner for Human Rights Thomas Hammerberg who plans a visit to Yerevan in October.

Meetings with speakers of Croatia, Albania, Morocco, Italy, Cyprus, Poland and Ukraine were held, RA NA press service reported.
