RA MFA: Baku’s destructive behavior hampered signature of five-sided statement in Almaty

PanARMENIAN.Net - The five-sided meeting between heads of delegations of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair counties and Armenian and Azerbaijan Foreign Ministers in Almaty was useful, although Baku’s destructive behavior hampered signature of five-sided statement, Armenia’s top diplomat said.

“The statement issued by Sergei Lavrov, Bernard Kouchner and James Steinberg bases of the December 1, 2009 OSCE Ministerial Council’s statement and mentions the three principles of conflict resolution: non-use of force, right of nations to self-determination and territorial integrity,” Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said.

“Selective approach to the principles fixed in the statements is inadmissible,” he added, RA MFA press office reported.
