Levon Shirinyan: agreement on swap of POWs not to be implemented

PanARMENIAN.Net - Political analyst Levon Shirinyan estimated positively the fact that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev agreed on swap of POWs.

“However, I am among those people, who do not trust Turks, thus, I do not think that the agreement will be implemented,” Shirinyan said when responding to PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question during a press conference in Yerevan.

At the same time, commenting on Baku’s “activity” at the line of contact between the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces, the Armenian expert said that Baku just demonstrates alleged readiness for war.

Shirinyan added that Armenia should not be afraid of anything and should give appropriate response in case of Azerbaijan’s aggression.
