Galust Sahakyan: instead of acting, the opposition keeps complaining about obstacles

PanARMENIAN.Net - Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) parliamentary faction leader Galust Sahakyan commented on statements that Armenian authorities put obstacles in the way of organizing opposition rallies.

“Instead of acting, the opposition keeps complaining about the obstacles,” RPA parliamentary faction leader said.

“Rallies were forbidden in Soviet times; however, the people overcame the hindrance, rallies being in public demand. The demand has to be created. One can’t repeat the same thing all over again. Everyone can tell what opposition leader Levon Ter-Petrossian will focus on in his next speech,” Sahakyan said, adding that in contract to opposition, RPA is moderate in its promises.
