Expert: Baku won’t venture a blitzkrieg

PanARMENIAN.Net - Board chairman of Analytical Center on Globalization and Regional Cooperation Stepan Grigoryan said that the parties to the Karabakh conflict need to display patience, as the conflict cannot be settled within a day.

“No progress will be recorded in the process without Karabakh’s participation in negotiations and the Karabakh people’s will,” Grigoryan told a press conference in Yerevan.

Grigoryan was skeptical about the possibility of Azerbaijan’s withdrawal from negotiations and launch of hostilities in Karabakh. According to the political analyst, Baku will not dare oppose to the superpowers and wage hostilities in Karabakh.

“There will be no blitzkrieg,” he concluded.
