Lincy Foundation continues assisting Armenia in schools construction in earthquake zone

PanARMENIAN.Net - On May 27, the Armenian government approved suggestion on signing Revised Memorandum of Understanding between the RA Government and Lincy Foundation.

Armenian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan said that the foundation will continue the program on schools construction in the earthquake zone.

Specifically, $12mln will be allocated for schools rehabilitation and completion in Shirak and Lori regions of Armenia – 3 schools in each region, Gevorgyan said during the governmental sitting.

For his part, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan expressed gratitude to the foundation for its continuous cooperation with Armenia. He added that best construction standards were introduced during implementation of the program on schools construction, which is the most successful one among Lincy projects.
