Fair trial issues discussed in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - A 2-day seminar on fair trial issues and independence of judges, which kicked off in Yerevan on November 9, brought together specialists and representatives of Armenian civil society.

“Such events offer a good opportunity for Armenian NGOs to get familiarized with the international experience. When specialists possess the essential knowledge and have certain experience, they can find more efficient mechanisms to resolve legal issues,” Armenian Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan said.

He also voiced hope that the amendments to be introduced to the RA legislation will allow conduction of reforms in the juridical system.
