The Hrant Dink Award is presented in Istanbul to individuals, organizations or groups that work for a just world, free from discrimination, racism and violence, who take personal risks to achieve those goals. Editor-in-Chief of Agos Armenian-Turkish paper Hrant Dink was assassinated on January 19, 2007, near his office in Istanbul.
