Byelorussian team wins Armenian Prime Minister’s Handball Cup

A Byelorussian handball team won Armenian Prime Minister’s Cup in a tournament held September 2-4 in Vanadzor. On September 4, Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and International Handball Federation President Hassan Moustafa presented the cup to the Byelorussian team.

Armenian team became the runner up in the tournament, followed by Iranian and Georgian teams. On closing day, the Prime Minister congratulated the winners, expressing hope that the tournament will stimulate further development of the handball in Armenia, governmental press service reported.
