PanARMENIAN.Net - In the 5th tour of Shanghai Chess Masters Grand Slam, Armenian grandmaster Levon Aronian lost to Vladimir Kramnik of Russia, to share the 2nd place with 6 points.

The tournament leader, Alexei Shirov of Spain will be playing against Viswanathan Anand and Magnus Carlsen in Grand Slam Final Masters.

Aronian and Kramnik have equal chances to be one of the 4 players to qualify for finals.

In the 6th tour, the Armenian grandmaster will be playing against Shirov; Kramnik will rival China’s Wang Hao.
