Armenian Wrestling Championships brings together 140 sportsmen

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Wrestling Championships kicked off in Yerevan on January 26.

Secretary General of the Armenian Wrestling Federation Bazmaser Arakelyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that the tournament brought together 140 sportsmen from all regions of Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh.

Wrestlers in four weight classes (55kg, 74kg, 84kg and 120kg) entered the competition on the first day.

Chief Coach of Armenia’s wrestling team Araik Baghdadyan said that the team will start getting prepared for Grand Prix due February 11-13 in Istanbul in two days after the Armenian Championships completion.
