European Commission ready to contribute to Armenian-Turkish reconciliationMay 6, 2009 - 22:46 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian and EU Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighborhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner discussed Armenia-EU cooperation issues, particularly, ENP implementation, reforms in government agencies of Armenia and activities in the EU Council. Saying that Armenia projects active participation in the new Eastern Partnership initiative, Minister Nalbandian stressed that Eastern Partnership will give a new impetus to Armenia's cooperation with European Commission. He presented latest developments in Armenia-Turkey reconciliation process. Mrs. Ferrero-Waldner voiced readiness to support the process on behalf of European Commission.
