Armenia, Romania to develop cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Romanian Senate President Mircea Geoana met Thursday with newly appointed Armenia’s Ambassador to Romania Hamlet Gasparyan to discuss development of bilateral cooperation.

“Centuries-old relations between our countries make a good foundation for expanding cooperation. The Eastern Partnership and BSEC offer a wonderful opportunity to strengthen bilateral ties,” Mr. Geoana said.

He also voiced hope for alleviation of tensions in the region, what will allow using South Caucasus’s potential and inclusion of Armenia in economic projects, RA MFA press office reported.
