Nalbandian thanked Canadian parliament for Armenian Genocide recognitionJune 1, 2010 - 11:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In the framework of a visit to Ottawa, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with Peter Milliken, Speaker of House of Commons of Canada, to discuss development of Armenian-Canadian relations, parliamentary cooperation and normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations. Minister Nalbandian thanked the Canadian parliament for recognition of the Armenian Genocide. He also met Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney and representatives of the Armenian community of Canada. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
