The Turkish State Minister visited Patriarch of Constantinople, His Holiness Mesrop Mutafyan and wished him soonest recovery, Milliyet reported. Besides, Egemen Bagis met with newly elected Patriarchal Locum Tenens Aram Ateshyan and congratulated him on the election. According to the Turkish paper, the meetings of Bagis in the Patriarchate were held behind close doors and lasted for two hours.
