U.S. revises relations with Turkey

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton held a policy discussion on Turkey at the State Department, the Anatolian Agency reported.

Assistant Secretary of State Jack Lew, Director of Policy Planning for State Department Anne-Marie Slaughter and Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasian Affairs Philip Gordon attended the discussion which was closed to the press.

U.S. State Department spokesman Mark Toner told the daily press briefing that it was a long-scheduled meeting.

Refusing to delve into details, he said it was “an in-depth meeting where important policy issues on Turkey were discussed.”
