ANCA: Obama’s choice of Matthew Bryza as Ambassador to Azerbaijan was a mistake

PanARMENIAN.Net - President Obama's choice of Matthew Bryza as U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan was a mistake, stated the Executive Director of the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA).

“Mr. Bryza is the wrong official for this position, having disqualified himself, by virtue of his own word and deeds, as either an effective advocate of U.S. interests or a persuasive voice for American values in Baku,” Aram Hambarian told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

“We appreciate Senator Boxer's leadership in delaying a vote on his confirmation and look to the U.S. Senate to block his approval,” he said.
