PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 21, President of the Republic of Artsakh Bako Sahakyan sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. The letter reads as follows:

“On behalf of the Artsakh authorities and myself I cordially congratulate you and the entire Armenian people on Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia.

It is a holiday for every Armenian in Armenia, Artsakh and the Diaspora. We all celebrate the solemn event that has laid a base for realizing century-long dreams and national goals of our people.

For already 19 years the Armenian people have embarked on the path of creating and developing their statehood, making prosperous their fatherland, reinforcing and strengthening democratic values. It is a hard way and overcoming it with dignity demands strong will and unshakable spirit, hard and painstaking daily work, tenderhearted and compassionate stance towards the Fatherland.

I am confident that under your leadership Mother Armenia will become a modern and developed country, homeland for widespread Armenians, where every Armenian will live with the sense of pride.

I congratulate you and our compatriots on the State holiday once again and wish you peace, prosperity and success in glory of the bright future of the Republic of Armenia.”
