According to him, a CSTO agreement is signed between Armenia and Russia. "Currently Russia has two systems of air defense. One of them is located in Russia, the other one - in Armenia. Through it we have control over the region," he said. Commenting on information about Russia's sale of S-300 missiles to Azerbaijan, Tsyganyuk said that this fact has not been confirmed. "However, if it is true, then it is an attempt to restore a status-quo." As for the fact that President Medvedev first visited Armenia and then only Azerbaijan, Tsyganyuk said that it indicates that Russia sets Armenia above Azerbaijan as its strategic partner. "We have problems with Azerbaijan, such as undetermined status of the Caspian Sea and Azerbaijan's joint actions with Georgia within NATO. As for extension of the agreement on rent of Gabala radar station, most likely, it will not happen. We have a similar system, so, in my opinion, Gabala radar station will not be used," APA agency quoted Tsyganyuk as saying.
