The congress participants will focus on restoration the rights of Armenians from Western Armenia, prevention of elimination of Armenian cultural heritage and resolution of problems in Armenian-populated Samrskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia. They will also discuss creation of an archive of documents on the Armenian Genocide. “All issues will be discussed by separate working groups. We will try to work out legal moves to resolve them,” one of the council founders Armenak Abrahamyan told aPanARMENIAN.Net reporter. “Basing on the UN resolution on aboriginal nations, we can restore our rights and call Turkey and Azerbaijan to account,” he said.
