CIS military cooperation project signed in Moscow

PanARMENIAN.Net - The heads of CIS armed forces staff signed a package of agreements aimed at development of military cooperation in CIS framework.

“CIS leaders will adopt a 2010-2015 military cooperation concept for CIS countries at the forthcoming summit,” Chief of the Russian General Staff, Army Gen. Nikolai Makarov stated at the meeting in Moscow, RIA Novosti reported.

Armenian delegation led by the head of Armenia’s Armed Forces General Staff, Colonel General Yuri Khachaturov also participating in a meeting of the heads of CIS armed forces staff organized by CIS Council of Defense Ministers Secretariat.
