Artsakh President meets with Armenia’s Union of Writers member and Diaspora writers

PanARMENIAN.Net - On December 9, President of the Artsakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met with the member of the Armenia’s Union of Writers Artem Haroutyunyan, as well as Diaspora writers Peters Souryan and Aram Arkun.

Issues related to cooperation between Armenia, Artsakh and Diaspora in the field of literature were discussed during the meeting.

NKR leader characterized the sphere of literature as one of the priority sectors in pan-Armenian integration processes that to a great extent contribute to the patriotic upbringing of the younger generation and preservation of the Armenian national identity.

Bako Sahakyan specifically noted the importance of uniting the efforts of the state and the public sector for the development of a common pan-Armenian literary space.

Artsakh Republic minister of education and science Vladik Khachatryan and head of the Artsakh Union of Writers Vardan Hakobyan partook at the meeting, Central Information Department at the Office of Artsakh Republic President reported.
