During a joint news conference with Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan in Brussels, Jerzy Buzek praised the start of talks on the Association Agreement between Armenia and EU as well as efforts for creation of a free trade zone. Armenian PM, in turn, thanked the European Parliament for assistance rendered for implementation of economic reform. “Our meetings and the assistance rendered by the European side will convey renewed impetus to the package of reforms carried out in Armenia,” Sargsyan said, the governmental press office reported.
