Azerbaijani FM, U.S Secretary of State to discuss Karabakh issue in WashingtonMay 29, 2011 - 18:21 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will pay a working visit to the U.S. on May 29 - June 3, the ministry said. During the visit, Mammadyarov will speak at a meeting of the OIC ambassadors in the UN headquarters in New York. He will hold a meeting with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, the permanent representatives of the League of Arab and Asian countries under the UN and director of the Center on the United States and Europe at the Brookings Institution Fiona Hill, Trend News reported. A meeting with U.S Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington is also scheduled, with Karabakh issue discussion on agenda. Azerbaijani authorities report that they have already resettled 3,000 people in the Nagorno-Karabakh town of Stepanakert. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on April 22 to hold talks with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
