French independent journalist Jean Eckian told the PanARMENIAN.Net corespondent that in his letter addressed to Van governor Alexis Govciyan stated that the Holy Cross Church, which is an Armenian cultural heritage, must remain property of the Armenian Patriarchate of Turkey and function as a temple. Also, A. Govciyan pointed out the inadmissibility of transforing the church into a museum without any reference of his belonging to the cultural Armenian heritage.
